* Notice: LapSnapper Software version 5.22.1 is compatible with the LapSnapper Socket Server version 5.20 or newer.
Installation instructions:
The software is available from the LapSnapper Download Center (https://www.lapsnapper.com/download).
Notice: New instance of the app will be installed due the software certificate is changed/extended 30 years. New software certificate is valid 30 years starting at 31.10.2021 and it is valid until 30.10.2051. Please remove old LapSnapper Lap Timing Software manually after installation, if you don’t need anymore results/data, which have been created by using old software.

- Note: Please remove old LapSnapper Lap Timing Software manually after installation. This is needed because software certificate is changed and new installation doesn’t replace old installation.
- Tweak: Compiler and Target SDK version is set to 31 (Android 12)
- Android is in middle of improving OS security. LapSnapper follows the Android development and uses the latest security improvements by targeting the software to the latest Android version/SDKs.
- Tweak: The result files are moved to the public directory, which is named by /Documents/LapSnapper/
- Note: Old result files are not anymore available in the new software version. Please remove old LapSnapper result files by removing a /LapSnapper and /Lapsnapper2022 directories, if you don’t anymore use old results with the old software version.
- Tweak: LapSnapper internal files are re-named and moved to internal files directory
- Tweak: Application is tested with the latest version of Android 12L (= Android large screen version)
- Tweak: Software certificate is changed (Certificate is valid 30 years starting at 31.10.2021 and valid until 30.10.2051)
