TERMS AND CONDITIONS
SCOPE OF AGREEMENT
The LapSnapper online store (lapsnapper.com) is operated by LapSnapper. These terms and conditions apply when customers place orders through the online store, as well as via email, phone, letter, or any other form of distance communication.
PRICES
All prices listed in the online store remain valid until further notice. Prices include a 25.5% VAT for EU customers unless otherwise specified. VAT is not included for non-EU customers.
DELIVERY AGREEMENT
A delivery agreement is established once an order is placed in the online store or confirmed via email. Under this agreement, LapSnapper is responsible for delivering the products in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. Customers are responsible for payment, compliance with these terms, and proper usage of the products according user instructions.
PAYMENT METHODS
LapSnapper accepts the following payment methods:
- PayPal
- Credit Card Payments
- Direct Bank Transfer (Invoice)
PayPal and Credit Card payments expedite delivery, as payment confirmation is received immediately.
Paytrail Plc, an authorized payment institution, processes Debit/Credit Card payments. “Paytrail Plc” will appear as the recipient on your bank or credit card statement. Paytrail Plc will then forward the payment to LapSnapper.
ORDER PROCESSING TIME
Order processing begins after payment is received. Depending on production load, processing typically takes 3-5 business days.
SHIPPING AND SHIPPING COSTS
Products are shipped via FedEx International Priority or Economy services under the DAP (Delivered at Place) terms.
- Estimated shipping times:
- Europe: 2-4 business days
- Rest of the world: 3-6 business days
- Shipping costs are calculated based on the destination country and package weight. The shopping cart includes a shipping cost calculator for your convenience.
NON-EU CUSTOMERS: IMPORT TAXES, CUSTOM DUTIES, AND HANDLING FEES
Orders are shipped under DAP (Delivered at Place) terms. The selling price includes the product price and delivery costs to the specified address. However, customers are responsible for any import taxes, customs duties, and handling fees applicable in their country. Customers must verify these costs before placing an order.
If a customer fails to handle import and customs fees, resulting in a return of the product to LapSnapper, the additional costs incurred will be charged to the customer.
ORDER CANCELLATION
Orders can be canceled before they are shipped. LapSnapper will issue a full refund upon cancellation. To cancel an order, please contact LapSnapper via email at info@lapsnapper.com for further instructions.
LIMITED WARRANTY
LapSnapper warrants its products to be free from material and workmanship defects for 12 months from the date of purchase. If a product fails under normal use within this period, LapSnapper may, at its discretion, repair or replace defective components at no cost for parts or labor. However, the customer is responsible for any transportation costs.
This warranty does not cover:
- Cosmetic damage (e.g., scratches, nicks, dents)
- Consumable parts such as batteries (unless damaged due to a manufacturing defect)
- Damage caused by accidents, misuse, water, fire, natural disasters, or external factors
- Damage resulting from unauthorized servicing
- Modifications or alterations made without LapSnapper’s written consent
LapSnapper reserves the right to refuse warranty claims for products or services acquired or used in violation of any country’s laws.

APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION
This agreement is governed by Finnish law. Any disputes will be settled in the Oulu District Court, Finland.
